TAKE THE STAGE!
Take The Stage! is a performing arts program designed for all fifth grade students. Led in partnership with district music teachers, this immersive experience engages every class in singing, acting, and dancing through an integrated classroom-based instructional program. In addition to the time spent with our highly experienced Teaching Artists, students learn some of their songs, choreography, and short scripted scenes directly in music class, developing a performance unique to each classroom that blends music, movement, and storytelling.
The program culminates in a ~45 minute celebratory showcase where students step into the spotlight and share their work with their school community during the day, and an invited Friends & Family performance in the early evening.
Take The Stage! builds confidence, collaboration, and creativity while deepening students’ engagement with the performing arts.

ENCORE! MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP
ENCORE! MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP is a free, immersive performing arts experience where local children build confidence, creativity,and community while bringing a musical theater showcase to life. By providing free bussing from BHBL Summer Rec and daily snacks, Encore! helps remove common barriers like transportation and food insecurity, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to participate, feel supported, and experience the joy of the Arts.
